One of 9 Pieces created for NFL Network games package. These animations air during live games exclusive to NFL Network and are team specific. We created themed designs playing off the teams logos, colors and mascots. We came up with the idea to use toy army men as a fun way to tie in with the theme of battle commanders. These would air live over the game and include real time narration by the games play by play announcers.
In this piece, Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World (1932) is re-imagined as a modern television mini-series drawing upon the novels dark and unsettling tone as well as influences of Victorian and Brutalist architecture, steam punk aesthetic, and the hidden dangers of biotechnology and social engineering taken to the extreme. All visuals were created by me. Special thanks to Dan Berridge for the gracious use of his track "The 2 Steps" as well as Kitbash3D for a number of the buildings.
