Knowing

Who am I? And how shall I “Know Thyself?” This powerful and ancient question is the supreme guide to the practice of meditation. Sitting quietly for a time, my mind is able to slow down, and I’m able to connect deeply with the present moment; getting in touch with the stillness within. Through my work and creative process, I’m able to let go of the thinking mind and tap into the feeling of being. My message is to connect the viewer to the experience of losing oneself in the moment. I believe that it’s by losing ourselves that we truly find ourselves. I imagine these places of peace, seen in visions and dreams, alive with the felt oneness with all creation. It’s through this feeling that we come to the true knowing of ourselves.
